Yogendran Devarajan is the General Manager at Elysium Resorts Malaysia and also serves as the COO of Elala Sdn Bhd, overseeing both the retail and manufacturing divisions. With over 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry and a strong educational background, Yogen is leading a groundbreaking project that challenges traditional hospitality business models and transforms ESG endeavors within the industry. He holds an MBA from the International Business Management Institute, a BA in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, and multiple diplomas and certifications in hospitality, customer service, and contract management.

At Elysium Resorts, Yogen oversees the development, launch, and management of Malaysia’s first eco-friendly wellness destination, providing sustainable and holistic wellness experiences for guests and local communities. He leads a cross-functional team of over 100 professionals, optimizes the investment portfolio of D Future Sdn Bhd—the parent company of Elysium Resorts—and ensures excellence across its hospitality division. In his role, Yogen also represents the owners’ business expansion in Sabah under Homy Villa Borneo Sdn Bhd, managing hospitality projects across Penang, Langkawi, Sabah, and Sarawak. His passion is to leverage his expertise in ESG, wellness, and innovation to create value for stakeholders and drive positive change in the hospitality industry.
